Gettin' ready for Part 2... and Mo Fo Theme Music!

Howdy all,
And cheers to everyone who attended the virtual launch of Episode 1 of the Mo Fo last Friday! We're pretty damn happy to say it all went down with minute perfect precision... if you don't take into account it was three months later than originally intended... *ahem*...

A couple of Mo Fo's with their digital baby...

So, "What next?" we have been asked? Well, we're in the midst of that wonderful crunch time that we developers love so much, as we do all the last minute photoshop polishing of Part 2 for this week's Friday deadline. Yep... it's happening again... same Mo Fo Time... same Mo Fo Channel...

Part 2 of Episode 1 is Supported by DECAY!

It's an ass-kickingly kick-ass post-apocalyptic, space-western, dramedy, with anime influences and a shot of that dark and sexy HBO stuff, so yeah, it's for a more MATURE audience... well, not for 'kids' anyway, not sure about the 'mature' part. It follows the misadventures of Bran Mak Foo and Honey Pott, a just-married couple scrounging a living in their dilapidated deep-space freighter, the Qupid, on the Edge of Endspace; a vast region of space where no semblance of civilization has reemerged after a galactic apocalypse... or three. The Edge is a place where heroes are few, villains are plentiful, and the rest are just trying to survive...

...oh, and as if life weren't tough enough already for our heroes, Bran just so happens to be the most wanted man alive - Spacelord Mutha... well, we'll say Mo Fo because we're in polite company. The Mo Fo's said to be a one man army who walked into a bar and let loose a hell that destroyed a city. Of course, the truth behind that tale is something else, but that's a truth for another telling. At its heart The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo is a rock-em, sock 'em tale of love and guns, with Bran and Honey fighting the good fight against the galaxy, and sometimes each other, but always finding a way through... together... mostly... we hope...

Ironclad Imagineers is David G. Williams, Artist (Catwoman, Phantom, Wolverine: Doombringer, In Flesh and Spirit), and Pat McNamara, Writer (Angelwitch Book 1: Dragonscarpe & Book 2: Triumvirate). Ironclad's mission is not to replace traditional comics, rather, we want to take what we love about comics, telling kick-ass, but sensitive, stories through sequential art, into the frontier of narrative and visual storytelling possibilities offered by the digital medium. The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo is our first.

About David...

David does not enjoy writing bio/profile thingies. Now he's got that off his chest he might be able to write something. Beginning in comic book illustration in the mid nineties (Wolverine, Catwoman, Shadow of the Bat, R.E.B.E.L.S., The Phantom... and more recently, In Flesh & Spirit, and Demonatrix), David has continued in the pursuit of learning through living. Something we all have in common. Now gathering the years of experience, Dave is kinda chuffed to be collaborating on an exciting new adventure in a vast universe not too dissimilar from our own yet a polar opposite. Dave also enjoys oxymorons.

About Pat...

Pat is a writer of Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi and Thrillers. He is a member of the Pop Culture Generation, and, yes, Pat believes Han shot first. Pat started writing professionally in the early 90s as a co-creator of the Cogal Series', The Unknown Soldier novel (where he first met Dave). He was a co-owner and writer for the games company, R3 Interactive (The Last Lion, Cow Encounters, Cannonball), and once dabbled in running a Hellfiresque nightclub in his spare time. More recently he has worked as a colorist on Lost in Space: Voyage to the Bottom of The Soul, and written the Angelwitch novel series for Angel Phoenix Publishing. The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo is Pat's first published original work - Yay!! Pat also thinks writing about himself in the third person feels weird.
