A year ago today, two awesomely disturbed minds set out on a grand adventure...

Hi all,
We're half way towards finishing Part 6 of Episode 1 of The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo, and as I ruminated on this not-particularly-monumental occasion in the history of the Mo Fo, it occurred to me that it has been exactly one year, give or take a few days, since Dave and I first teased the world about the coming of the Mo Fo. Yes, we announced the 'Launching Soon' of the Mo Fo at Adelaide's first Armageddon Expo back in March 2011. The project has come along way since then, and we've tweaked a lot of our initial designs and concepts. But it's fun to go back and see where it all began, and with that in mind here's a look at some of the promo material we had on offer at the show.
Always felt this poster design had an 80s Film poster vibe.

For the collectors out there we were offering a limited print run of 10 copies of this poster for sale. We have 7 left, and the offer still stands. $50 plus postage and handling. Signed and Numbered.
Side A of our first flyer... including our first title and character designs, and no-longer valid website info.
Side B. We had fun coming up with a new take on the old 'Wanted Poster'.
Our first costume and weapon design for Honey Pott... and Tomb Towers in the background.
Dave, promoting the Mo Fo (and In Flesh and Spirit) at Armageddon.
Me, doing double stand duty at Armageddon. This photo was taken at the stand I had with Michal Dutkiewicz, promoting our illustrated novel, Dragonscarpe.
A couple of posing Mo Fos.
Dave & David Hewlett of SGA - "Your comic is called what?!"
Dave and the Comedian (aka Steve Scholz)
And so ends this 1 year anniversary trip down memory lane. Now it's time to get back to work on the future of the Mo Fo, including putting together an exploratory committee to decide if we should consider having a stand at Oz-Comic Con in Adelaide, March 31st/April 1st. Stay tuned for an announcement of the committee's findings - and for the release of Part 6 of the Mo Fo on March 4th. Be There... Or Don't!
Cheers All!
Pat

"The Legend of Spacelord Mo Fo Cinegraphic Novel is an ass-kickingly kick-ass post-apocalyptic, space-western dramedy, with anime influences and a bit of that dark and sexy HBO stuff... so yeah, it's for a more mature audience... well, not for 'kids' anyway... not really sure about the 'mature' part - Updated FREE online every week."
